I have enjoyed a Verona Vineyard’s wines over the past decade, after finding their Rabbit Hash, KY tasting room. I recommend the Petit Verdot. But I had never been to the vineyard until last weekend.
I had been looking forward to the guest Colorado chef but we received an email that morning that he was not going to be there and that Beile Street Cafe was catering. Their food is good but didn’t travel well. The Ceasar salad was wilted and there were not any choices other than pasta. So not ideal for anyone who eats low carb / keto / gluten free because of health issues, not the fads.
The wines and the old fashioned were good. The atmosphere was pleasant. I would recommend a reservation because table fill up fast. They have room for growth and improvement, but I would visit again.
